About Our Interviews
StockResearchPortal.com interviews are based on our belief in the importance of independence and objectivity – see our Interview Policy.
Our interviews, unlike many Executive and Industry Leader Interviews found on the Internet, are extensive and detailed. We approach these interviews much like we would approach a ‘company acquisition interview’. We do this for a number of reasons, not the least of which are that:
- we believe that if an investor, or a trader for that matter, invests or trades for either a long or limited time period they are in essence ‘acquiring the company’ whose shares they are buying or trading; and,
- interviews of +/-5 minutes typically highlight only one or two aspects of a company’s business, and often are aimed at promoting knowledge of one or two specific favourable events or aspects of the company whose Executive is being interviewed. From time to time we may conduct interviews of such shorter length as supplements to our detailed interviews. Where we do that, such interviews will be made available to our Subscribers in conjunction with our longer interviews.
We generate our interviews as MP3s in order to enable our Subscribers to listen to them from mobile devices.
We recognize our interviews are unusually long by Internet standards. Accordingly, we break them down into segments. Our segments currently run longer than we would like them to, and we are actively working on ways to ‘tighten them up’. Our objective is to reduce our interview segment time to a maximum of 10 minutes, and to limit the number of segment interviews to no more than five – included sequentially with our
daily e-mails over the course of one week.
