At Intierra we monitor all global capital raisings over CDN$2 million  as announced to the financial markets. October has been one of the best months for capital raisings in the last three years.

There were 239 companies that announced capital raisings over the CDN$2 million threshold. In total CDN$12.8 billion was targeted to be raised with CDN$7.7 billion raised by the end of October.

There was activity from all the major exchanges. The Toronto Stock Exchnage led by number of raisings followed by the Australian Exchange. The Alternate Investment market had eight capital raisings.

There were 15 raisings over $CDN 100 million.

November is already shaping up to be a stellar month with 225 capital raisings announced to date for a total targeted amount of $CDN 15.6 billion.
