Manufacturing refers to the production of goods for profit. Data is collected and updated by Statistics Canada. The following charts show the cumulative percentage change of Manufacturing Jobs that existed at the end of 2000 for each calendar year after 2000, the number of Manufacturing Jobs at the end of each of the latest twelve months, the number of Manufacturing Jobs lost in absolute numbers in each of the latest twelve months, the number of Manufacturing Jobs at the end of each year from 2000 and the number of Manufacturing Jobs lost in absolute numbers in each year after 2000.
