It explores primarily for zinc, lead, copper, silver, gold, nickel, cobalt, manganese, and iron resources. The company holds 100% interest in the Buchans property and the Tulks North property located in central Newfoundland; and Woodstock manganese property located near the town of Woodstock in western New Brunswick. It also has a 50% joint-venture interest in the Long Range base metal and gold property located in central Newfoundland. The company was formerly known as Royal Roads Corp. and changed its name to Buchans Minerals Corporation in July 2010. The company is based in Windsor, Canada.
