Anvil Mining Limited engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and mining of mineral properties in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The company primarily explores for copper. Its principal assets include a 95% interest in the Kinsevere copper project located in the Katanga province; a 70% interest in the Mutoshi copper/cobalt project, including the Mutoshi mine located in the Kolwezi region in the Katanga province; and interests in other exploration properties in the DRC. The company was formerly known as Dikulushi Resources Limited and changed its name to Anvil Mining Limited in March 2004. Anvil Mining Limited was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Osborne Park, Australia.
