It owns an option to acquire up to 70% of interest in the Doran property consisting of 47 contiguous mineral claims covering approximately 2,500 hectares located in the Baie Johan Beetz area of Costebelle Township, Quebec. The company was formerly known as Abbastar Uranium Corp. and changed its name to Abbastar Resources Corp. on July 27, 2009. Abbastar Resources Corp. was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
