Consumer Confidence Index - Canada
The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) is a monthly measure of the degree of optimism Canadian Consumers express through saving and spending. The monthly Index of Consumer Confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to a random sample of Canadian households. The results are based on over 2000 telephone interviews conducted monthly. Data is collected and updated by the Conference Board of Canada. The following chart shows the CCI for each of the latest reported twelve months.
