The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) is a monthly measure of the degree of optimism
Canadian consumers express through saving and spending.
The monthly Index of Consumer
Confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to
a random sample of Canadian households. The results are based on over 2000 telephone
interviews conducted monthly. Data is collected and updated by the Conference Board of Canada.
Stock Research Portal provides data on over 1,600 Mining, oil and gas companies traded on the Toronto and Venture Stock Exchanges. Economic data, such as the latest data on the Canadian Consumer Confidence Index is provided to assist with investment research. If you have questions about the CCI, join our community and post them on our Economic Q&A Forums.
